Kent Legal is an ongoing, visible supporter of Nellie's, a not for profit organization dedicated to assisting women and children. Their goal is to provide a new and improved facility for women and children marginalized by poverty, violence, homelessness and oppression and to provide a transition program for returning to or entering to the workforce. We are committed to their goal!

Our recruitment specialists will provide career counselling, interview preparation, resume writing and advice on professional protocol in the workplace. To complete the process of transition into the workplace, we will also host an ongoing drive for donations for professional clothing for women. 

Resident mothers are grateful for infants and young children's clothes.  The residents always appreciate receiving toiletries such as travel soap, shampoo and hand creams etc.as well as for linens such as single sheet sets and towels.

Accessing our extensive network of legal professionals Kent Legal has developed a roster of Legal Professionals who have graciously offered their services to the residence of Nellie's on an as needed basis. If you would like to be included on this roster please contact kglynn@kentlegal.com

 Kent Legal will host a variety of fund-raising events to assist with ongoing financial support required by Nellie's for the new shelter anticipated for 2014. We will keep you advised when our event campaign begins! www.nellies.org
